Professional Golf Planners of America, LLC. (PGPA) is a Michigan-based golf company that specializes in everything golf. PGPA’s Certified Golf Tournament Planners provide experience and professional fundraising leadership while utilizing the latest technologies and resources specifically used in golf event planning.
Our Gift & Prize Manager has a unique and exciting role in assisting with collection and distribution of golf centric gifts and prizes. The main responsibility of this role will be curating a retail assortment to be offered online and at outings, as well as planning, executing, and managing golfer swag bags to be presented at golf outings.
As well as being responsible for Gift and Prize Management, our Gift and Prize Manager will provide feedback and recommendations on directives established by PGPA Executive Team. This role will provide support to the PGPA Executive Team on all facets of the business and will report to the General Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Choose suppliers based on: product, cost, uniqueness and availability

Provide purchasing information on items to be bought for outings

Choose items to sold online, at golf outings and offered as Regional Distributorship

Order merchandise for all PGPA revenue activities

Provide support to other PGPA Managers on all facets of the business based on abilities

Set up day of the event raffle & contest prizes

Assist Social Media Manager with communicating gift and prize incentives to be shared on website, through social media, and in monthly newsletters

Work with auction companies based on consignment

Work with Website company on online web page auction items for each event

Attend client meetings as required

Participate in the PGPA Employee Sales Commission Program

Solicit Golfers & Sponsors
Qualifications:

College degree preferred or similar career experience

Purchasing or Buying experience preferred

Strong negotiation skills

Excellent organization and planning skills

Ability to multitask

Ability to work and communicate with a team
