Anthony [Tony] Comperchio

Chief Executive Officer / Chairman & Founder

With over two decades of experience in the golf industry, Tony has participated in many different types of golf events. Whether it was raising money for National Charitable Organizations; where Tony’s received numerous awards for his fundraising efforts, or participating in competitive golf tournaments for the Golf Channel’s AM Tour, his passion for the game is obvious. Tony has also spent the past 32 years in the Facilities Management Industry, working with numerous Fortune 500 clients. His detailed and organized approach to business has enabled him to excel in numerous leadership positions. Tony’s goal is to make Professional Golf Planners of America, LLC a household name in the golf industry by offering exceptional and diverse services.

Bill Wittenberg

General Manager

As General Manager, Bill oversees the day to day operations for PGPA. Bill is also our resident Meteorologist with 28 years of weather forecasting experience. In his free time, Bill is usually found on the golf course or the bowling center. He’s spent over 40 years playing both sports, boasting 1 hole in one and 28 300 games.

Jacob Sansburn

Chief Financial Officer

Jake’s passion for problem solving and process innovation has helped companies ranging from independent insurance providers to international banks identify and resolve issues with reporting and bookkeeping processes. He is also the financial controller for an engineering and design consulting firm in Walled Lake, Michigan. He completed his BSBA in Corporate Finance at Central Michigan University where he studied different techniques in financial modeling, valuation and corporate structure. Jake has also worked in the insurance industry as a reporting specialist. In his free time, Jake likes to golf, hike and exercise.

Aaron Gentry

Golf Services Manager

Aaron joins the PGPA with 15 years of sales experience in Michigan’s destination golf industry. Throughout his career he has arranged countless outings, charitable events, corporate getaways and tournaments. After more than 20 years working for some of Northern Michigan’s finest resorts Aaron recently returned to the Lansing area where he originally hails from. A graduate of the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University Aaron is a passionate Spartan fan. He also enjoys traveling around the globe
and is an avid foodie.

Laura Judson

Office Manager

Laura brings her 20 years of Administrative experience across a wide range of industries to the team at PGPA. She loves the excitement of problem solving and event planning. Friends call her the ultimate hostess! In her leisure time you can find her playing with her pups, cooking, reading, gardening and traveling.

Brittany Dawson

Event Execution Manager

Brittany has a Bachelors of Science in Education for Sport Management from Bowling Green State University. She has been in the marketing and events industry for over 7 years planning and executing a wide variety of events. She is excited to bring her creative thinking, knowledge, and skills to the team to help plan and execute each event. In addition to her passion for events, she is also a personal trainer. You can find her working out at the gym in her free time!

Ty Burket

Digital Marketing Manager

Currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Marketing at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) as part of the class of 2028, Ty operates a successful digital marketing agency with a proven track record of analyzing data to make informed decisions within marketing campaigns. In addition to his professional career, Ty is an ice hockey player competing at the collegiate level at IUP and is also a recreational golfer. Ty is thrilled to contribute his expertise as the Digital Marketing Manager for PGPA.

Janina Parrott Jacobs

New Business Development Manager

Janina Parrott Jacobs is an entrepreneur and consultant specializing in golf, business, and women’s issues. A pioneer in golf, she was the first woman to compete on men’s teams in Michigan after Title IX and is a member of the WSU and Michigan Women’s Golf Association Halls of Fame. An award-winning writer and media personality, Janina has hosted GolfWrap on WJR-AM and Michigan Golf Weekly on CBS-Detroit. She consults on golf course design and co-created The Positive Golfer seminars. A world traveler and professional musician, Janina has spent over 50 years connecting people and causes.

Keitra McVay

Finance Manager

Keitra McVay has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit and healthcare finance industries, specializing in financial reporting and financial analysis.  Keitra McVay has worked extensively to ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency for various organizations. In addition, she has experience managing financial processes, improving reporting systems, and analyzing financial data to drive strategic decision-making. Keitra McVay has also been a strong advocate for veterans, volunteering with organizations focused on housing and homelessness. In her free time, Keitra McVay enjoys mentoring emerging nonprofit leaders, engaging in community service projects, and spending time with family.  

Nadia Dearing​

Event Marketing Specialist

Nadia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University. GO GREEN! GO WHITE! She has a solid professional background in outreach, sales, marketing, and customer service, along with experience in planning and hosting events. Beyond her career, Nadia is also a model for commercial, bridal, fitness, and print projects. She is passionate about engaging in community service. Nadia is enthusiastic about putting her marketing skills to use. She looks forward to collaborating with the PGPA team and contributing to their success.

Luis Gonzalez

Day of Event Staff Manager

A retired Firefighter of over 33 years, Luis now spends his time either working on the golf course or working with the PGPA team. His real-life experiences and incredible organizational skills have contributed to the success of many of PGPA golf outings. Luis’s charismatic, care free attitude has brought laughter and joy to all that attend a PGPA event. Also, an avid airplane pilot you can also find Luis up in the air on many nights enjoying his plane. A devote family man, his commitment to his family, his passion for life and his commitment to PGPA’s clients makes Luis a welcome addition to the PGPA family.
